This sale is for a used replacement (substitute) adapter for the AD-55S Icom power adapter that works with both 120 and 240 VAC. We had to do substantial testing of various adapters to arrive at one that operates with the same low noise characteristics of the AD-55S adapter. In addition to the low noise characteristics, we had to find an adapter that has the larger input plug to fit the rear panel of the R75 and R8500 receivers and also one that supplies higher amperage to avoid overheating during operation. If you are seeking a high quality low noise adapter to pair with your R75 or R8500 receiver, you will find that it is nearly impossible to locate such an item.
